Official Hobbit Trailer–Part 2

I have just watched the second official trailer for the hobbit movie coming out in December.  Now while most of it looks cool, I can’t help but think that there’s some comedy padding added in to help extend the story. 
How do you feel?  I‘m getting an inkling that there is more Peter Jackson and less Tolkien in the movie.

I admit I had to watch this in a cafe where it was competing with music, but what I saw didn't look too unTolkienesque, apart from Galadriel turning up. That, I agree, is not in the original novel, though I hear that they're expanding it using bits from Tolkien's History Of Middle Earth, where they published fragments that didn't make it into LOTR or Hobbit, eg Tolkien actually wrote that meeting of the White Council, so you see what Gandalf was doing while Bilbo and the Dwarves were getting into trouble. Anyway, I will trust Peter Jackson; he did a fabulous job with LOTR and he loves his Tolkien fiction. Let's talk again after the movie is out! :-)

I do trust him but felt he might have been erring on the side of comic relief with the falling troll at the end. :)
